Feeding the ducks with the K Family

I met this lovely family at the Rideau for some fun times! There were tons of ducks to feed and we even saw a little family of swans.  Every second of the shoot these kids were laughing and playing and smiling. We headed down the river to the park after feeding the ducks. I didn't have to pull out any tricks at all! They just shone bright the whole hour! Little sweet C brought her best buddy Mickey along and they just chummed around together in their own little imagination world. It was the sweetest little relationship I've ever seen :)  Big bro was as charming as can be. He held his sisters hand on the rocks and kept catching her at the bottom of the slide. I love capturing the friendship between siblings at this age.

Bec&Brett Engagement

We had a blast at Peterie Island for this couples engagement session. They came a long way to see me ;) All the way from Australia! I'm really looking forward to their Canadian wedding next summer!!

An Island Summer

I just had to share a collection of images from my summer out east. Prince Edward Island is the most beautiful place in world for me! It might be the beaches of rolling dunes, the red sand that makes it so unique or the crisp breeze coming off the water 24 hours a day. But I think what really makes it home is the people we're with there. They say home is where the heart is and my heart definitely belongs to the Island.
