Little Miss G and Baby N Snuggle it up!

This duo was truly hilarious! Little MsG was a riot! I realized that the majority of the preschoolers that I've photographed recently have been boys. This little lady was just a treat and a delight! She had spunk and personality and shone brightly the whole time I was there! Her little brother was a charmer as well. He was pretty reserved for the most part, polar opposite from his big sis, but he sure did light up when he caught her eye! He was just taking it all in like a sponge. And she showed genuine love and affection for this little man. And he totally reciprocated! These two shared some good sibling lovin, and I'm so happy to have had the chance to capture some of that for them! They were awesome and adorable... hense the ridiculously big gallery. I usually try and stick to 10 images, at most, but, I couldn't resist these! I'm sure you'll enjoy their cuteness as much as I do!!!

Together Family Feature: My Boys on the Cover

I'm super excited about my boys being on the cover of this magazine! I should be happy about my featured interview, but I'm more excited to see their hilarious little faces on the cover!! :)  I just wanted to clear up one thing..... by no means do I claim to have the secrets to 'taking perfect pictures', just wanted to convay that first off! ha ha. The 'tips' I've suggested in the interview are just some basic things that might help moms take better pictures of their kids.

Looking back on my own journey, it took me a while to figure out some of pretty basic things that made a big difference in the quality of my family pictures. We all start somewhere right! Being a photographer is a constant learning process. I really do feel like with each session I do, I take away something new with me. Something that makes me better. Although the pictures featured in the article may not be my most technical images, they definitely show my growth and each image means something special to me. Not for how it looks to someone else, but for what it stands for to me. How it documents the little things that maybe I took for granted in the moment. I love looking back through old photo albums, believe me there are LOTS, and reliving days past. That's why I take pictures. That's why i LOVE being a photographer!! You really can hold on to the most precious moments of time with a picture. It doesn't have to be a 'perfect picture'. It just has to be perfect to you.

Park Play with the M Fam and Friends

I was so excited to take on this new challenge. Group Sessions are AMAZING! My clients actually did the hardest part of my job for me and made each other smile :)

We started off with the GORGEOUS M Fam and their little charmer! What a kid! This guys was all smiles and giggles the whole session! Such a pleasure to photograph.

Afterwards, we moved to the great outdoors to play at the park! Even though we were knee deep in the snow, literally... and some of the guys just had their runners on, haha, I for one, had such a blast with these fun friends! It was pretty adorable to watch these good friends come together for their yearly reunion with their wee ones in tow. The kids were all pretty goofy, which made my job a breeze! Thanks for having me M Fam and friends! It was a great morning :)

Big Bro O & Little Miss D

I've had the pleasure of photographing this super fun family a few times now. It took Mr O a few sessions to warm up to me, but now we are best buds! I think this is a big advantage to sticking with one photog that you click with. You can't expect a child to be your best friend in an hour and that's fair. But I find a child's real genuine personality shines through when they are totally their own silly, ridiculous self! That's what I got out of this awesome little star wars fan this afternoon! He was so genuinely in love with his new baby sister too! His face just lit up with her in his arms. He was so proud to be a big brother! Thanks for having me again H Fam! I will come back and play anytime :)
